Rct

Recruit
After enlistment papers have been filed out, the new member ceases to be a civilian and becomes a Recruit of the Regiment, taking their first steps into becoming a soldier and brother of the Unit.
1 Pv3 Private Third Class

The Private Third Class or Pv3, is the first step into the 17th as a soldier and true member, they are as green as their uniforms and have yet to learn what it means to be a soldier of the Regiment. Pv3 also select their DMOS' and begin perfecting themselves in them.

To become a Private Third Class a soldier has to achieve the following:

► Compleated BCT and GCS

► Personal file completed

Pv2

Private Second Class

The Private Second Class also known as Pv2 is an experienced member of the Section, having advanced his skils both in Section and DMOS dutties, they are battle proven members of their Section, showing proficiency and determination in all they do.

To become a Private Second Class a soldier has to achieve the following:

► One Month Time in Grade as a Pv3

► Contributions in DMOS and Section Duties

► Contributions in the Forum

► No significant lapse in activity

1 Pv1 Private First Class

The Private First Class is a senior and experianced member of the Regiment, showing exlance both in and out of the field, having master their DMOS and shown that they are capable soldier. A Pv1 is truly an example to the men and stives in exelance in all he does.

To become a Private First Class a soldier has to achieve the following:

► One Month Time in Grade as a Pv2

► Completed Air Assault Training, also known as AIT

► Significant Contributions in DMOS and Section Duties

► Significant Contributions in the Forum

► No lapse in activity

LCpl

Lance Corporal

A Lance Corporal known as LCpl, is not unlike a Recruit, they are same as Rct's, in a training phase, training to become a member of Staff, NCO's and examples to their men, many people may become Lance Corporals, yet most of them will not make the cut to become Corporals, the rest simply assuming their old Rank and Position.

To become a Lance Corporal a soldier has to achieve the following:

► 2 (Two) Months Time in Grade as a Pv2 or One Month Time in Grade as a Pv1

► Graduated from JNCOS (Or selected to attend)

► Clear and decisive speech and writing capabilities

► Shows excellence in DMOS and Section Duties

► Ability to conduct training, as directed by superiors

► Recommendation from Section Commander and Staff

Cpl

Corporal

The Corporal known as Cpl, is a true member of staff and a NCO, they have passed the Lance Corporal trials, thus becomming Corporals. They posses the knowladge and expertese to guide and train their men, yet have still a lot to learn, they commonly act as Team or Section Commanders and actively train their men.

To become a Corporal a soldier has to achieve the following:

► 2 (Two) Months Time in Grade as a LCpl

► Completion of the Corporals Course (Or selected to attend)

► Ability to write Section Reports

► Vital part in DMOS and Section Duties

► Ability to conduct trainings singelhandedly

► Selected as Team or Section Commanders

► Recommendation from Section Commander and Staff

Sgt

Sergeant

The Sergeant is the life blood of the Company, serving as Section Commanders or in some cases other duties, they are the chief training personnel and act as "Fathers" to their men, drawing upon their vast experience to mold their men, induct new members and hone old ones.

To become a Sergeant a soldier has to achieve the following:

► 3 (Three) Months Time in Grade as a Cpl

► Completion of the Sergeants Course (Or selected to attend)

► Demonstrated success as a Section of Team Commander

► Vital part in DMOS and Section Duties

► Ability to assist the Platoon Sergeant when needed

► Recommendation from Staff

PtSgt

Platoon Sergeant

After Serving at least 6 months as an OR 5, you may be eligible for promotion to OR 6.

As an OR 6, you will use your experience to help run trainings, keep discipline within the unit, and uphold the unit to the highest standards. At Platoon level, you may become a Platoon Commander. At Company Level, you might be appointed Quartermaster.

1st Sergeant

After Serving at least 6 months as an OR 5, you may be eligible for promotion to OR 6.

As an OR 6, you will use your experience to help run trainings, keep discipline within the unit, and uphold the unit to the highest standards. At Platoon level, you may become a Platoon Commander. At Company Level, you might be appointed Quartermaster.
